Fernie Castle

The L-shaped tower house extends across three floors and features twenty bedrooms, four reception rooms, and a ballroom with 120-person capacity.

Built in 1353, Fernie Castle underwent multiple expansions during the sixteenth century, including the addition of a round tower at one corner.

The castle functions as a registered hotel where guests can experience life within centuries-old Scottish fortification walls.

The property maintains twenty individually designed suites, including five monarch suites, two king rooms, eleven double rooms, and two single rooms.

Within the castle grounds stands a treehouse suite with tree trunks growing through the floor and a spiral staircase leading to an octagonal bathroom.
