Forbidden Corner is a maze garden in North Yorkshire featuring tunnels, chambers, and pathways winding through landscaped areas and architectural structures. The grounds span several acres and are continuously marked by unexpected passages and architectural surprises.

Colin Armstrong created this private garden as a personal project starting in the 1980s. The site opened to the public years later in response to growing local interest.

The grounds display statues and water features depicting scenes from English folklore and legends throughout the landscape. These elements create small moments of discovery as you move through the gardens.
