Frimley Green Windmill, Historic tower mill in Frimley Green, England.

Frimley Green Windmill is a four-story brick structure with traditional spring sails, standing in Surrey Heath as an example of rural grain-milling engineering. The building shows the physical characteristics typical of mills from its period, with a clear tower form that remains visible today.

The mill first appeared in records around 1784 under private ownership and changed hands several times before being taken over by the Royal Military College in 1803. This military connection represents a different path from most mills of the time.

The building reflects the traditional role of mills in rural communities, where grain processing was essential to local life. Walking around the structure, you can observe how its design served both practical work and the community's daily needs.

The structure is now private residential accommodation and not open to the public, so views are limited to the exterior from surrounding paths and roads. You can walk around the perimeter to observe the building from different angles.

The building received Grade II listed status in 1984, recognizing its importance as an example of industrial architecture from its era. This designation protected it as a heritage structure of regional significance.
