Holy Trinity Church, Horwich

Holy Trinity Church is a stone building with a western tower crowned by decorative pinnacles and Y-shaped tracery windows. Inside, a plaster rib vault ceiling sits above slender chamfered piers that give the interior its distinctive character.

The building was constructed in 1831 by architect Francis Octavius Bedford to replace an earlier chapel serving the community during industrial growth. This new structure reflected the town's expanding population and changing needs during that period.
