The Mathematics Tower rises 18 floors with a three-story podium base, featuring contrasting facades of concrete and angled glass windows.

Edmund Percey designed this educational facility in 1968 as part of the University of Manchester expansion during the post-war modernization period.

The Mathematics Tower housed classrooms and research spaces for mathematics and physics students until its demolition in 2005.

The structure stood at 75 meters high near the intersection of Oxford Road and Brunswick Street within the main university campus.

The building's western facade displayed raw concrete while its eastern side incorporated protruding glass windows at varying angles.
