Museum of Rail Travel, Railway museum in Ingrow, United Kingdom
The Museum of Rail Travel displays restored railway carriages and exhibits that tell the story of railway transportation development through the centuries.
Established in 1965 and registered as a charity in 1981, the museum opened its doors to the public in 1990 under the Vintage Carriages Trust management.
The museum collection includes carriages from major British railway companies, with construction dates ranging from 1876 to 1950, representing different eras of rail transport.
Located near Ingrow West station, the museum operates daily from 11 AM to 4 PM, offering tickets at £5 for adults and £3 for children.
