Rose Hill School operates in a Grade II Listed neo-Elizabethan manor house featuring multiple spinneys, tennis courts, a swimming pool and expansive playing fields.
The school relocated from Banstead, Surrey to Alderley in 1939 when Headmaster T G Hughes purchased the 20-acre Alderley House property during World War II.
Students participated in a house system divided into three groups - Romans, Greeks, and Trojans - while following the school motto 'Conando floreamus'.
The educational institution provided comprehensive instruction for children aged 2 to 14, offering both day and boarding options until its merger with Querns Westonbirt School.
The property served as a filming location for BBC1's hospital drama Casualty during Season 24 after the school's closure in September 2009.
