SeaCity Museum, Maritime museum in Southampton, England
The SeaCity Museum presents Southampton's maritime history through interactive exhibits, models, and artifacts spanning multiple exhibition spaces within a former civic building.
The museum opened in 2012 to mark 100 years since RMS Titanic's departure from Southampton, transforming a Grade II listed magistrates' court into an educational center.
Permanent galleries explore Southampton's role as a migration gateway and preserve personal stories from Titanic crew members who resided in the city.
Located at Civic Centre on Havelock Road, the museum welcomes visitors daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with facilities including a café and gift shop.
The museum houses a 1:25 scale interactive model of the Titanic and features recorded messages from actual survivors of the maritime disaster.
