Sandwell Valley RSPB reserve, Nature reserve in Sandwell, England.
The reserve encompasses wetlands, woodlands, and meadows around Forge Mill Lake, providing varied habitats for numerous bird species throughout the year.
The area transformed from a former landfill site into a protected natural space, featuring carefully planted native trees and shrubs to support local wildlife.
Artist Tim Tolkien created the entrance gates, integrating artistic elements into the natural setting of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds reserve.
Visitors can access the reserve through multiple paths from Forge Mill Farm car park, with a bird hide on stilts offering lake observation points.
The reserve shares its main water body with Sandwell Valley Country Park and functions as a storm water retention basin within a River Tame meander.
