Sheringham Little Theatre is a community theatre in an English coastal town featuring 180 seats arranged in an intimate setting. It presents live performances and film screenings year-round.
The building was constructed in 1897 as a meeting hall and converted into a cinema in 1914. It took its current name, The Little Theatre, in 1960.
The venue hosts one of the few ongoing summer seasons with regular performances in the United Kingdom. Visitors experience theatre and film during the warmer months in a setting shaped by the local community.
The theatre is open daily from 10 AM to 3 PM, with extended hours before performances. An on-site coffee bar serves homemade refreshments.
In 2013, actor John Hurt supported the venue by pre-recording a voice role for a Snow White production. This collaboration demonstrates the recognition this small theatre receives from established performers.
