St Edwen's Church, Llanedwen

The church features local red gritstone walls with sandstone details, topped by a tower with a broach spire reaching 21.3 meters high.

The original church was established by St Edwen in 640, while the current Grade II listed structure dates from 1856, designed by architect Henry Kennedy.

The churchyard contains memorials from the 17th and 18th centuries, including the grave of Henry Rowlands, a notable historian who wrote about Anglesey.

Located 250 meters from the Menai Strait, the church holds weekly Sunday services following the Book of Common Prayer format.

The interior of St Edwen's Church maintains traditional illumination methods, with candles serving as the sole source of light during services.
