The Mill Field, Nature reserve in Mill Hill, London Borough of Barnet, England.

The Mill Field covers a steep slope with grasslands, hedgerows, scattered trees, and a small stream running through the site. The reserve spans around 3.4 hectares and displays a mix of open areas and more wooded sections.

A windmill once stood at this location, documented as early as 1321, before disappearing sometime before 1754. The site's history is connected to this former structure used for grinding grain and generating power.

The upper area contains a football pitch where local residents gather for sports and community activities throughout the year. This space serves as a gathering point for the neighborhood, bringing people together for recreation and social events.

The reserve can be reached through an access point on The Ridgeway near Hammers Lane in the Mill Hill area. The sloped terrain requires sturdy footwear, and visitors should allow time to navigate the hillside paths.

A spring-fed pond within the reserve supports specialized wetland vegetation and uncommon wildflower species. This small water feature creates a distinct habitat for plants that thrive in damp conditions found nowhere else on the site.
