Wool Hall, Bristol, Mixed-use building and music venue in Redcliffe, England

The Wool Hall features a symmetrical facade with Neoclassical elements, including a Pennant-flagged staircase connecting multiple floors for different purposes.

Built in 1830 by architect Richard Shackleton Pope at a cost of £4,400, the building initially served as a wool market after traders left central Bristol.

The ground floor transformed into a music venue called The Fleece, which hosted performances by notable artists including Radiohead, Oasis, and Amy Winehouse.

Located on St Thomas Street, the Grade II listed structure maintains office spaces on upper levels while operating as an entertainment venue below.

The building survived World War II bombings that destroyed neighboring 17th-century structures, standing as one of Bristol's first quasi-industrial constructions.
