Gosford Castle, Norman castle in Markethill, Northern Ireland.

The Grade A listed building features 197 rooms, numerous towers, and thick stone walls built in a neo-Norman architectural style.

The Acheson family received the land in 1610 from King James VI, with the current castle construction starting in 1819 under Thomas Hopper's direction.

The castle served as a filming location for the television series Game of Thrones, specifically for scenes involving House Tully in season three.

The castle structure contains 23 residential units following a renovation project that maintained its historical architectural elements.

During World War II, the castle grounds functioned as both a military garrison and a prisoner of war camp.
