The National Westminster Bank features a granite facade with yellow and grey elements, four main floors, and decorative terracotta window dressings throughout the structure.
Constructed between 1899 and 1902 for Parr's Bank, the building served financial institutions for over a century until National Westminster Bank closed in October 2017.
The circular interior layout incorporates a central round lantern illuminating radiating coffered panels, with eight triple pilasters made from striped green marble.
The Liverpool City Council approved plans to transform the ground floor into a restaurant and bar, with pending permissions for a 92-bed hotel in the upper levels.
The building contains large gable stacks and a central axial stack, complemented by two stories of dormers with segmental pediments atop the structure.
