Melin Tregwynt

Melin Tregwynt is a Grade II listed woollen mill housed in a whitewashed stone building near Pembrokeshire National Park. Inside, you can see a working water wheel and traditional looms that process wool into finished cloth.

The mill started in 1819 as a grain processing facility before shifting to textile production. The same family has owned and operated it since 1912.

The mill keeps Welsh textile traditions alive by making wool blankets and cushions with regional patterns. You can watch craftspeople working with materials that have been important to this area for generations.

The site has a shop, café, and free parking available to visitors. Guided tours are offered on weekdays when production is happening, and charging points for electric vehicles are provided.

In 1997, the facility created the world's largest picnic blanket, setting a Guinness World Record. The mill produces roughly 3 kilometers of fabric monthly, reflecting its steady output.
