Minsteracres stands as a three-story stone mansion with architectural elements from 1758, including a north wing addition completed in 1865.
The Silvertop family constructed this residence in 1758, and in 1949 the property transformed into a Passionist Monastery through a significant sale.
The monastery contains a Catholic chapel dedicated to St Elizabeth of Hungary, completed in 1854, featuring two 40-foot murals from the 1960s.
The retreat center offers accommodation spaces in converted stable blocks, maintaining the Grade II listed status while serving modern visitors.
The east and west lodges, entrance screen, and multiple farm buildings within the estate hold individual Grade II listed status designations.
