The 292-acre park contains woodlands, wetlands, and meadows connected by marked trails that extend across different natural landscapes throughout the grounds.
The land belonged to Cobham Hall Estate until the 1920s when it transformed into a clay extraction site for the cement industry until 1970.
The eco-friendly visitor center, constructed with local sweet chestnut wood in 2006, represents the integration of Kent's natural resources with modern architecture.
The park opens daily from 9 AM until dusk, offering accessible paths, electric mobility vehicles, designated parking areas, and a café serving fresh meals.
Former clay excavation pits have been converted into flat recreational spaces that now house picnic grounds, play areas, and the main visitor facilities.
