Ronald Ward and Partners designed this structure in 1964 as part of an initiative to establish Croydon as a major office center outside central London.
The building served as Nestlé UK headquarters until 2012, representing the transformation of Croydon from a market town into a commercial center.
The ground floor connects to St George's Walk shopping arcade, providing direct access to retail establishments and public transportation networks.
Chinese developer R&F Properties acquired the building in 2017 for £60 million with plans to convert it into 288 residential apartments.
