Church of St John the Baptist, Peterborough

Church of St John the Baptist is a medieval parish church located next to the cathedral with architecture featuring the Perpendicular style. Inside you can find intricately carved stone details, detailed window tracery, and a baptismal font from the 15th century.

The church was built in 1402 and replaced an earlier building from the 11th century that stood in a different location. The town's relocation to its current position made construction of this new building necessary.
