St Peter and All Souls, Peterborough

St. Peter and All Souls is a stone Catholic church on Park Road that displays Gothic architectural features including pointed arches and detailed carved stonework. The building is topped with a stone tile roof that showcases the craftsmanship of its period.

Architect Leonard Stokes designed the church and presbytery in 1896 using Gothic principles. The parish later moved administratively from the Diocese of Northampton to the Diocese of East Anglia in 1976.

The congregation includes Catholics from Eastern Europe, India, Africa, Ireland, the Philippines, and East Timor who bring their own traditions and languages to worship. Their presence shapes the daily rhythm and character of the community gathered here.
