Parish Church of St Denys

The limestone Parish Church of St Denys features a cruciform layout with a central tower, two stair turrets, and ten clerestory lights on each side.

Construction of the church began in the 11th century, with major rebuilding in the 14th century and extensive restoration by Sir Arthur Blomfield between 1887 and 1889.

The Victorian interior contains stained glass windows from renowned artists including Burlison and Grylls, Henry Holiday, and Clayton & Bell, representing 19th-century craftsmanship.

The church provides on-street parking within 250 meters, a bus stop within 100 meters, and allows dogs in the main areas for visitors.

An organ case from 1792, originally installed in Salisbury Cathedral, remains a central feature of the church's musical heritage.
