Tal-y-coed Court, Victorian country house in Llantilio Crossenny, Wales

The red brick mansion features a symmetrical five-bay west front with three tall pedimented dormers and substantial late 19th-century architectural elements throughout the structure.

Constructed between 1881 and 1883 for Joseph Bradney, a local dignitary and antiquarian, at a cost of £10,000 by architect F.R. Kempson in Queen Anne style.

The interior maintains its Victorian character with high-quality woodwork, detailed moulded ceilings, and original Morris wallpaper decorating the shuttered windows.

The Grade II* listed building stands 2 kilometers east of Llantilio Crossenny village, accessible through a driveway extending north from the B4233 road.

The mansion includes a clock tower, former stables, and a lodge at the main entrance, with bricks manufactured from local clay deposits during construction.
