Lainshaw House, Category B listed mansion in Stewarton, Scotland.
The three-storey Classical mansion features six bays, Tudor-Gothic details, cream sandstone walls, and a Doric portico on its main elevation.
William Cunningham, a tobacco merchant, purchased the estate in 1779 and carried out major improvements to transform the earlier structure.
The building represents the architectural evolution from a 15th-century tower house to a 19th-century Classical mansion with Gothic influences.
Following internal fire damage, the mansion underwent conversion into residential flats in 2008, preserving its structural heritage.
Archaeological studies reveal traces of a medieval tower house integrated within the current building's structure.
