Lands of Templehouse, Medieval estate in East Ayrshire, Scotland.
The Lands of Templehouse extend between Aiket Castle and Dunlop town, featuring stone structures and agricultural fields across the Scottish countryside.
The Knights Templar owned these lands until 1570, when the Gemmell family received the property and maintained ownership for approximately 500 years.
The estate grounds included a golf club from 1909 to 1922, reflecting the evolving recreational activities of Scottish rural communities.
Visitors can reach the estate through local roads connecting Netherhill and Mains of Aiket, with walking paths providing access to the historical grounds.
A walled garden enclosure of half an acre contained specific stonework patterns similar to those found at nearby Borland estate.
