Kings House, Hove, Grade II listed building in Grand Avenue, Brighton and Hove, England
Kings House stands as a substantial Victorian structure with seven mansion blocks designed in accordance with the architectural style of Osborne House.
James Knowles constructed Kings House between 1871 and 1874, and the building received Grade II listed status designation in 1974.
The building transformed from residential mansions to Prince's Hotel, then served as Royal Navy quarters during World War II before becoming SEEBOARD headquarters.
The property underwent a complete renovation in 2021, converting the former Brighton and Hove City Council offices into residential accommodations.
The building sold for £26 million in 2017, marking one of the largest property transactions in Brighton and Hove's commercial sector.
