Built in 1828 by architect L. Vulliamy, this structure received its Grade II listing designation on October 18, 1949, marking its architectural importance.
The north portico incorporates four columns with square end pilasters, decorated with reclining figures and a clock above the central pedimented door.

The structure combines a rectangular east-west layout with banded rustication at podium level and features segmental-headed windows throughout its design.
