The Homestead is a residential house located at 113 Church Road in Barnes, featuring traditional architectural details characteristic of its construction period. The property is marked by a boundary wall and railings along the street front that define its entrance and street presence.

Construction of this house dates to around 1720, a period of significant residential development in the Barnes area. It received Grade II listed status in 1951, confirming its architectural and historical value within the district.

Scottish physician Robert Willis, who made contributions to medical history and library science, resided at The Homestead from 1846 until 1878.
