Woolworth Estate

The 32,000-square-foot Italian Renaissance mansion features marble walls, multiple fireplaces, formal gardens, and a 17,000-square-foot carriage house on 16 acres of land.

Architect Charles Pierrepont Henry Gilbert designed this mansion in 1916 for retail magnate Frank Winfield Woolworth, costing nine million dollars to construct.

The estate has appeared in numerous productions, including The Greatest Showman film and the television series Boardwalk Empire and Mildred Pierce.

The property includes two main structures: the central mansion and a clock tower building, surrounded by English gardens with statues and fountains.

The grand marble staircase alone required two million dollars to construct, demonstrating the extraordinary level of craftsmanship and materials used throughout the estate.
