Blackfoot

Blackfoot is a city in Bingham County in southeastern Idaho, situated along the Snake River. It functions as the county seat and serves as the administrative hub for the region.

The city was founded in 1878 near a stagecoach station and became the county seat in 1885. This shift transformed it from a small settlement into the region's administrative center.
