Rincón

Rincón is a municipality on the western coast of Puerto Rico that features several beaches facing both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. The area spans across the Western Coastal Valley with a mix of coastal and inland landscapes.

The municipality was founded in 1771 and underwent major changes after hosting an international water sports competition in 1968. This event marked a turning point and brought wider attention to the area.
