Hastings-on-Hudson, Residential village in Westchester County, United States
Hastings-on-Hudson extends along the eastern bank of the Hudson River, featuring residential neighborhoods and local shops across its hillside terrain.
The village territory, initially inhabited by Weckquaesgeek Algonquian people, became part of Frederick Philipse's manor in 1682 before incorporation in 1879.
The Newington-Cropsey Foundation Gallery of Art houses works from the Hudson River School movement, while the Historical Society maintains the Draper Observatory.
