Herr's Island Railroad Bridge, Railroad truss bridge in Pittsburgh, United States.
The iron Pratt truss bridge spans 64 feet across the back channel of the Allegheny River, connecting Troy Hill to Washington's Landing.
Constructed in 1890 by Western Pennsylvania Railroad and rebuilt in 1903, the bridge initially served stockyards and meat packing facilities on Herr's Island.
The bridge structure represents late 19th-century engineering methods, featuring vertical end posts that differ from standard truss bridge designs of that period.
The bridge carries the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, providing access for pedestrians and cyclists with a switchback ramp at one end.
Stone benches and a compass-map inlaid in limestone near the bridge offer views of Pittsburgh's eastern skyline and the Sixteenth Street Bridge.
