Imagination Station

Imagination Station is a science museum in downtown Toledo with around 300 exhibits spread across multiple floors. The displays cover physics, engineering, and technology that visitors explore through hands-on experiments.

The museum opened in October 2009 and replaced a previous science center that had served Toledo's educational community for many years. This new facility brought expanded and updated science education to the city.

The museum connects science and technology to the everyday world through hands-on displays that show how these fields shape daily life and work. Visitors experience how learning across different subjects comes together in practical applications.

Visitors should plan time to explore the multiple floors, as there is a lot to see throughout the museum. The facility offers discounted rates for military personnel, teachers, and families with limited income, with young children admitted at no charge.

The Extreme Science Theater features live demonstrations where visitors can create indoor tornados and experiment with electrical currents. These theatrical experiments make science come alive in entertaining ways.
