Innisfree Garden

Innisfree Garden extends across 185 acres of landscaped grounds with a central lake, multiple water features, and specialized plant collections throughout the property.

Landscape architect Lester Collins developed this garden over several decades from 1930, incorporating Chinese and Japanese design elements into the natural landscape.

The garden reflects the influence of Asian garden principles through rock formations, water elements, and native plant arrangements that create contained landscape scenes.

Visitors can access the gardens from late April through early November, with guided tours available to explore the diverse plant collections and design features.

The central lake mirrors surrounding plants and structures while changing its appearance throughout the seasons, from spring daffodils to autumn foliage.
