Iowa Memorial Union

The Iowa Memorial Union is a four-story building serving as the central hub for student life, housing meeting spaces, dining areas, and study zones throughout its floors. The structure contains offices for student organizations, administrative departments, and venues for various campus activities and gatherings.

The building was constructed in 1925 as a memorial to students and alumni who served in World War I, embodying the architectural style of that era. This origin shaped its role as a lasting symbol of the university community and its values.
