Kearny Cottage, Historic house museum in Perth Amboy, US.

The 1781 Kearny Cottage contains four rooms and stands near the mouth of the Raritan River at 63 Catalpa Avenue in Perth Amboy.

The residence belonged to Michael Kearny and Elizabeth Lawrence Kearny, whose son Lawrence became known for establishing trade relations with China.

The Kearny Cottage Historical Society maintains the museum, which displays maritime artifacts and objects donated by local citizens through the years.

The building moved from its original High Street location to Sadowski Parkway in the 1920s before settling at its current Catalpa Avenue address.

The property includes a colonial garden that represents the horticultural practices of eighteenth-century New Jersey residences.
