Mulford T. Hunter House, Queen Anne style residence in Midtown Detroit, United States.

The Mulford T. Hunter House at 77 West Hancock Street features red brick construction with a prominent bay window and Ionic column-supported porch.

Built in 1894, this residence belonged to Great Lakes steamship captain Mulford T. Hunter who commissioned the architectural firm Donaldson & Meier.

The property represents late 19th-century residential architecture and illustrates the wealth accumulated by Great Lakes maritime industry professionals in Detroit.

The structure, transformed into multi-unit apartments in 1951, maintains its original exterior appearance while serving residential purposes in the modern era.

The basement's large stone foundation elevates the main structure, while an elliptical fanlight and oval window with decorative brickwork adorn the entrance.
