Norbert F. Beckey Bridge, Cantilever bridge in Muscatine, United States.

The Norbert F. Beckey Bridge extends 3,018 feet across the Mississippi River, connecting the states of Iowa and Illinois through a steel girder construction.

Following multiple structural failures of the previous Muscatine High Bridge, this new bridge opened on December 2, 1972, marking a significant improvement in regional infrastructure.

The bridge received its name in 1980 to honor Norbert Beckey, a member of the Muscatine Bridge Commission who advocated for safer transportation infrastructure.

The structure carries Iowa Highway 92 and Illinois Route 92 across the Mississippi River, supporting approximately 4,150 vehicles daily with its two-lane configuration.

In 2012, the bridge became equipped with 43 LED fixtures capable of producing 16.7 million color combinations, managed by Muscatine Power & Water.
