Old Goucher College Buildings

The Old Goucher College Buildings comprise approximately 18 brick and stone structures featuring Italianate and Romanesque design elements spread across the campus. These buildings sit between W. 25th Street and North Avenue and currently house the Baltimore Lab School along with other educational and commercial uses.

The college was founded in 1885 as the Women's College of Baltimore, serving as an important center for women's higher education in the region. The institution moved its operations to Towson during the 1950s, ending the campus use of these buildings.
