Owen Chapel Church of Christ
Owen Chapel Church of Christ, Greek Revival church in Brentwood, Tennessee.
The brick building at 1101 Franklin Road features two separate entrances and stands on a 1.4-acre plot near downtown Brentwood.
The congregation started in 1859 under the name Euclid, then changed to Owens Station before constructing the current building in 1860.
The dual entrances of the church building reflect the 19th-century social practice of gender separation during religious services.
Owen Chapel Church of Christ holds Sunday services with Bible Class at 9:00 AM and Worship and Preaching at 10:00 AM.
As of 1988, this structure remained one of only two pre-Civil War brick churches in Williamson County that maintains its original form.
