Peters Reservation

Peters Reservation is a protected nature area in Dover with multiple landscape types connected by hiking trails. These paths link into the Charles River Link Trail system, creating an interconnected network for exploration.

The Trustees of Reservations acquired the first parcels in 1988 to protect the land. This established it as a safeguarded environmental area from that point forward.

Visitors use the reservation as a place to learn about local ecosystems and understand conservation efforts in practice. The trails draw people who want to spend time outdoors and connect with nature regularly.

The grounds are accessible year-round for hiking and trail exploration. A direct connection to Chase Woodlands across Farm Street lets you expand your walk into adjacent natural areas.

The Charles River Link Trail connects this reservation with Chase Woodlands, forming an extended network that feels more spacious than either location alone. Walking across both properties lets you experience a larger connected landscape in a single visit.
