Prescott Farm

The Robert Sherman Windmill at Prescott Farm is a smock-style mill with four vanes standing on a 40-acre historical property in Middletown. The site features several preserved buildings, walking trails, and the windmill remains fully operational for visitors to see in working condition.

The windmill was built in 1812 during the early years of the new American nation. The farm site became historically significant when British forces occupied it during the Revolutionary War period.
