Portland Club, Social club in Portland, Maine, US

The Federal-style mansion at 156 State Street features numerous paintings, antiques, and twelve mahogany pool tables across multiple floors.

Built in 1805 by architect Alexander Parris, the mansion became home to the Portland Club in 1921 and received National Register status in 1973.

The Portland Club emerged from gatherings of Fred N. Dow and associates in 1886, focusing on current events and political discussions.

Members have access to billiards, pool tables, gaming facilities, a bar with two taps, and entertainment systems including a 100-inch projector screen.

The second floor contains an extensive collection of preserved antique mahogany pool tables that reflect the club's long-standing gaming tradition.
