Quality Hill Historic District

Quality Hill Historic District is a residential area in Pawtucket containing buildings constructed between 1850 and 1940 with varied architectural designs. The homes are spread across multiple streets including Walcott Street, Bend Street through Lyon Street, as well as School, Summit, Maynard, and Arlington Streets.

The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, formally recognizing its importance to Rhode Island's architectural heritage. This designation reflected how the buildings and their styles contributed to the region's development over time.

The homes show architectural styles from Federal, Greek Revival, and Late Victorian periods that shaped how people built their houses over generations. Walking through the streets, you notice how these different styles sit side by side, creating a varied look.
