Redlin Art Center, Art museum in Watertown, United States.
The Redlin Art Center houses three galleries with 160 original oil paintings depicting wildlife and rural American life. The works capture different seasons and everyday moments in farm country with careful attention to detail.
Terry Redlin founded the center in 1997 to give back to his community after a motorcycle accident shaped his early life. The center became his way of thanking South Dakota for its support during his recovery.
The galleries showcase scenes of rural American life through detailed paintings depicting outdoor activities, seasonal landscapes, and traditional community gatherings. Visitors see everyday moments that define life in farm country reflected in these works.
The center is located at 1200 33rd Street SE and is easy to access most days. Visitors should check hours in advance and wear comfortable shoes, as there are several areas to explore.
The grounds feature a 30-acre Conservation Park where visitors can explore nature. There is also a full-scale replica log cabin that brings scenes from the paintings to life.
