Ridley Athletic Complex, Athletic stadium in Woodberry, Baltimore, US
Ridley Athletic Complex is a sports facility spanning about 71 acres at the intersection of Jones Falls Expressway and Coldspring Lane with a stadium seating 6,000 and practice fields. The facility features double-decked grandstands, press areas, luxury suites, concession stands, and eight light standards for evening events.
This facility opened in March 2010 as the largest capital project undertaken by Loyola University Maryland and is named after Reverend Harold Ridley. The construction represented a significant investment in the university's infrastructure.
This venue serves as the home field for Loyola University Maryland Greyhounds soccer teams and hosts college tournaments throughout the year. The location has become an important gathering place for student athletics and university sporting events.
Visitors should use the clearly marked entrances and pathways to navigate the large grounds comfortably. Evening events are possible thanks to the lighting systems, and ample parking is available.
The grounds include an Air Dome installed in 2018 that allows for winter training in covered conditions. The adjacent McClure Tennis Center with eight lit courts opened in 2015 and expands the sports offering.
