Physical Education Complex

The Physical Education Complex is a building in Baltimore housing extensive sports facilities including a basketball arena, swimming pool, tennis courts, a soccer field, and a running track. The facility also contains training rooms, weight-training centers, dance studios, and multiple gyms for various athletic activities.

Construction began in early October 2007 and the complex opened in December 2009, a development period of roughly 2 years. This substantial investment reflects the university's commitment to expanding its athletic facilities.

This facility serves as the home base for Coppin State University's athletic teams and hosts collegiate competitions including basketball and volleyball matches. The teams use the space regularly for their training and competitive events.
