Theatre-By-the-Sea

Theatre-By-the-Sea is an open-air theatre on the Rhode Island coast near salt marshes. It presents Broadway-style musicals and comedies from May through September with a full restaurant, bar, and cabaret areas for entertainment after the main shows.

The theatre was founded in 1933 and gained recognition on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. This honor acknowledged its role in developing the performing arts tradition in Rhode Island.
