Visitors must bring a photo ID and cannot bring mobile phones or weapons inside the building. Court filings can be submitted at any office location regardless of where the case is being heard, and sessions follow a published schedule.
The court is organized into four divisions serving different regions within the Eastern District, with specialized staff stationed in each city. This structure allows cases to be processed more efficiently while keeping courthouse services closer to the people who need them.
